Support the Comic

I'll never stop comparing myself to Bill Watterson. The man was and is my hero, not only because of his talent, but also because he created Calvin and Hobbes because he loved Calvin and Hobbes. And while I may never equal his talent, I do feel like I've captured his spirit for creation.

See, I don't make A Starfarer's Guide for money, or for recognition, or even for you. I'm doing it because I love it, and that's always going to be a good enough reason for me.

That said, if you enjoy the comic, I am sincerely grateful for that. Grateful and a little tickled. I want to make something you enjoy, and I'm always going to push myself to make better stuff that you'll enjoy even more.

You can support the comic by buying it! The first volume of comics, which covers the very earliest comics and is kinda janky, is available here. If you buy this book I will get money, and I'll be eternally grateful considering these comics can all be read online for free, so you're doing it solely out of the goodness of your heart. You angel you.

You can also support the comic by reading it and following via Google or on Facebook. I see lovely line graphs for every comic you read, and graphs can be a strangely effective motivator for me. So read! And feel free to contact me through comments on the site, @starfarersguide on Facebook, or by emailing I'm glad you're here, and I hope you're enjoying the ride.
